A pulsar—the dead husk of a supermassive star—is only visible when it's beams of "light" points directly at the observer as it spins at a precise pace, similar to a lighthouse.


If you find yourself lost in the Carrion Valley, look for a shining blue light in the dense mist. Because it might be the lantern attached to this strange ridgeback's tail. He will guide you out of the valley with a haunting song to keep you company.

Don't let his corpse like appearance frighten you. He claims it helps blend in with the decay ridden landscape, and scares off scavenging beasts. He pledges allegiance to the lightning flight despite his frozen affinity. Leading future exhaltees through the training fields.
