Marble

”Wake up Marble...”
“Havoc...it’s too early in the morning. Let me sleep.”
”We need food now.”
“No. You can wait, it’s not going to kill you to wait.”
”FOOD NOW!”
“Hey!”
The spiral was tugged to her feet by an unseen being and forced out into the dark evening, looking around she heads towards the food preserves and sits down as something slithered along her back.
“Hurry up.” She huffs, ears pinning back.
”Yesssss! Meat!”
A fleshy colored mass with a dragon skull and jagged teeth looms over Marble’s head before striking like a snake at a hunk of bird meat, bones crunching as it chewed and swallowed it’s meal.
“Your eating habits are disgusting Havoc.” She huffs.
”I need sustenance, if I die you die too.” the things voice was masculine and seemed to be raspy.
“Yes, I know. I was born with you, you’re my parasite.” She sighs and rubs at her eyes, well what was left of her eyes.
”Parasite is a harsh word for something that has kept you safe your whole life.” Havoc replies with a snort before eating more.
“Well then what would you call this bond we have?” She counters.
Havoc pauses and turns his head to look at her with a sharp toothed grin.
”A symbiotic relationship.”
