Not a drone, not any sort of undead they're familiar with, not quite reminiscent enough to a changeling, and certainly not behaving in a normal draconic manner... the locals aren't quite sure what to make of this thing, or what sort of behavior to expect from it.
It almost seems harmless, except for the bizarre series of debatable coincidences that follow it.

Some assume it may have been cursed with bad luck, though others are quickly beginning to suspect that it may have a more intentional hand in things.
For its apparent lack of interest or ability to communicate a name, they've simply resorted to calling it by their own word for "odd".

It occasionally responds to familiar-like treatment, learning simple 'tricks' after enough repetition, yet seems uninterested in treats or toys.
A few clanswyrms have attempted to encourage more dragonlike behavior in it, but language lessons are always one-sided, it refuses to forage while watched, and they stopped trying to get it to bond with a familiar after the sixth went missing.

It seems to have an odd blind-spot for Aakovyah, whom it doesn't seem aware exists even if he prods it into falling over.
Despite this, he seems to both avoid and distantly monitor it more fervently than any of the dragons it 'stalks'.
