Aluvia

Aluvia is an odd little child who seems to lack any ability to communicate with words. She makes little more than squawky noises, and has never said a single word to anyone. She's perfectly chatty, though, and will happily make noises at people, and squawks loudly when she wants someone to pay attention to her. Ignoring her loud noises only results in her getting louder, and can sometimes cause her to become distressed, at which point she may try other methods to get your attention. Dragons who've attempted to ignore her often end up scratched or bitten, although she doesn't leave very deep injuries, thankfully.

Her distinct lack of communication skills extends to her understanding, too. While she often seems to get what dragons mean, it's become apparent that she doesn't actually know any of the words they're saying. This doesn't stop her from doing her best, though. She seems to be pretty in tune with emotions, interestingly enough. She's drawn to dragons who are sad and distressed, and will procure flowers or little trinkets in an attempt to cheer them up. She's often caught doing silly tricks, too, and has yet to fail to get any dragon to smile, no matter what seems to be the matter. While she's certainly an odd, and at times difficult, dragon, no one doubts that she's a joy to have around, nor that she's always trying her best.
