There’s a saying that size doesn’t matter. Obviously, the ones who said it were smaller than others. Koryath realized at a very young age that size does, indeed, matter a lot. If you tower over your enemies it is a great thing… but if you tower over your friends? The world can be a harder place.

The imperial is constantly aware of how large he is. For some reason, he feels like he should be in a different body. Koryath hates it when he is with his smaller friends and he accidentally moves wrong and causes some sort of problem with a random wing tip or tail… or even just the sheer bulk of his body.

Unfortunately for Koryath, he has been unable to find a way to make himself smaller without becoming a permanent child like many others in the lair. He keeps searching: magic, science, alchemy, etc. He’s tried it all. So until he can manage to shrink his body down, the very large dragon does his best to appear slightly more delicate than he really is. In his mind, his size might be less threatening if he looks as if he is utterly harmless.

Koryath thinks it works - at least a little. And besides, he looks very pretty. His friends enjoy climbing all over his bigger form and have started to make sure they all visit in an area that the imperial has room to move so he’s not having to be so constantly aware of what he might damage just by being himself.
