Fortune (FOR-chen), despite originally being a transplant from Shadow Flight, devotes all of her waking hours to the study of arcanic magics. She is known for her lengthy and at times inscrutable interviews with arcane dragons on the particulars of their existence, which she notes down in a tome she keeps at her side at all times. Prolonged exposure to this esoteric form of thaumaturgic energy has slowly warped and twisted her body over time. Rumors abound over what is obscured from sight by her smart field clothes, from a swathe of extra eyes to a third pair of wings curled up into themselves.

Although she is frequently found interacting with other dragons, this coatl is a quiet, stern, and remote personality. Her apprentices often find themselves tripping over their tails to please her to no avail -- or, at least, to no outward demonstration of approval. Lack of interest in socializing and a flatness of affect are to blame more than simple meanness, however. Although Fortune knows arcane magic like the back of her hand, the ins and outs of friendly interactions are beyond her.
