Image is a gif of a lantern in a forest. The lantern light goes out and many eyes appear in the darkness.

Into the forest, dark and dreary,
I step off the path, so lost and weary.
The shadows swirl and abound,
like they watch prey newly found.
Shivering from the breeze,
a sound to make me freeze.
Now I flee as the eyes in darkness shine,
No one will believe my startling find.

Aurora

It had been so long since Aurora had seen her parents. She'd been following this Waychunk for days now. It didn't seem to want to stop. At this time, she was a hatchling, and was an easy target for anything that may want to kill her. She hoped this waychunk would lead her to her family. As she exited the Scarred wasteland, she was somewhere completely new. It was dark, and scary here. It didn't look like a place she wanted to be at the moment. The waychunk's glow, kept her on track. As she followed the waychunk deeper in the tangled wood, there was rustling noises everywhere. He paused and looked around, unsure where it came from.

The waychunk waited for her and got closer to her. It was trying to encourage her to keep moving. Hesitantly, she followed the waychunk deeper in the wood. This time, when she turned around, she caught a glimpse of white eyes staring at her. Spooked at the sight, she ran away and hid in the nearest log. The waychunk struggled to keep up, but eventually found her. Aurora wanted to go back home now. She wanted to be back with her mother.

She whimpered at the thought she'd never see her parents again. It took about ten minutes for her to finally come out of hiding. The waychunk immediately started leading her again. Why did it so badly want to take her here?

This waychunk was supposed to lead her to a "New" family. The waychunk was simply doing it's job.

There were times when Aurora got distracted by glowing mushrooms or weird noises. The waychunk stopped in it's tracks and didn't move. Aroura had a rather puzzled expression and squeaked at it. Why wasn't it moving? She looked out to where it was staring, and there it was. A den! She bounded over, excitedly, thinking that she'd find her parents. However, these dragons were not. A female tundra dragon emerged from the den. She looked intimidating... who was this? Where was her parents?

Widow

The Tundra dragon emerged from her den, about to go hunting and bring back food for her and her mate. They both weren't interested in joining a clan, they were both outcasts anyway. She looked down, to see a small hatching in front of the den exit. It seemed afraid from what she could tell. "Are you lost? You don't seem to be from around here.." She said, studying the gaoler's eyes. Did they run off from home? Well, she couldn't leave the poor hatchling out here. After all, there were creatures out here to be afraid of. "Here, Let me help you.." She said, as she began to carry the baby back inside the den. It seemed cozy and homey here.

"Vivace! Where are you?" she called, as she was walking tunnel to tunnel. It was a rather big den, having a hoard room, a small library, a sleeping den, and a cooking area. The hatchling now seemed a bit calmer, as it looked around the rooms of the den. Widow set the gaoler baby on the ground when she found Viviace. "Viviace..? " Widow asked, poking her head in the library.

The other female tundra was sitting down, seemingly enjoying a good read at the moment. " Hm? back already?" Vivace asked.

"Well.. not really... I ran into this.." She said, stepping aside and revealing the hatchling. " I found It in front of the den. I didn't know what to do. It seems to be lost"

Vivace jumped up from her spot and immediately went to the hatchling. She seemed to examine it too. "Okay, first off, it's actually a she" Vivace said. "Second, how did she survive this long? She's all skin and bones! poor thing.. We have to feed her first!" Vivace said, as she picked up the little gaoler and carried her to a little home-made couch. "We'll take care of you now! Just like a family!" vivace said. Widow, wasn't so sure.. Could they really take care of a hatchling?

"Go and find some food for her." Vivace said. Widow rolled her eyes and left the den to fetch some food for the little gremlin.

Vivace

Vivace hadn't expected for a baby gaoler baby to be randomly sitting outside the den. That's what se was told anyways. She was truly curious how it even got so far from the scarred wastelands, or how it even survived without eating much of anything. "Do you have a name?" She asked the hatchling, hoping it could give her a name at least. She didn't want to change it if the baby already had one.

"Aurora" The baby gaoler said. It sounded odd when it was pronounced, but it was good enough. "Alright, Aurora. Where are your parents?" She asked. The baby seemed to not understand, as she tilted her head sideways. 'Oh dear....' she thought. Guess they'd have to take care of her after all. It was going to be certainly a little different around the den with a little hatchling around. She'd have to dig with widow to create a new room for the little one. Ah well, that wasn't a big problem. As long as the baby got out of the way. She didn't want to hurt the thing on accident after all.

"Cmon, are you thirsty?" She asked Aurora. She again, didn't seem to understand. As vivace walked through the den, the went to the cooking area and grabbed a jug from one of the back corners. She then, grabbed a bowl, which Widow and Vivace used for drink holding. She poured some water in the bowl and gave it to Aurora.

"Here, This is your new home, alright? Everything will be alright. You'll be safe now.."
