__ Many years ago, Nivenor made a horrifying discovery in his home clan's lands. Radioactive uranium! He kept going back to it over and over until it started to change him. Some from his original clan began to get sick when they interacted with him or the things he brought back. Nivenor was soon ostracized from his community and left, abandoned with his uranium. He's not sure why he's seemingly immune to its effects. (In a health-wise manner, anyway.) He suspects his mother may have laid his egg too close to a natural deposit.

__ Since then he's discovered so many properties of it! He's devoted his life to studying it since nobody else around seems to be capable of it without developing a deep sickness, or worse, dying. His movements and mannerisms are sharp, fast, and accompanied by a spacy wide-eyed toothy grin. He's almost always got his nose-or tail-buried in something seeping radiation.
