Well, you may call me Lurk. Now, might you be interested in playing a game? I'm quite a fan of them, you see." *Lurk sits, beginning to deal a set of cards in the space in front of him*

"I've always been more interested in the game than the winning, always, always more fun. A game is just the thing to take your mind off your long journey. If you have something you'd prefer to play, just let me know. And if you have a new game? Oh, oh I would love to learn it!"

*A slice of sunlight reaches through the treetops. Lurk's large form shimmers. The ray passes, darkness settles once more, and Lurk's form solidifies*

"Now, before we begin, I do have to go over my rules, yes? Not the game's rules, my rules. We can get to those in a moment. Rule one; New travellers must introduce themselves and agree to a story or a game. Rule two; Please do try your hardest, alright? Otherwise it's not any fun. And finally, rule three. This is a very, very important rule." *Lurk's eyes fall on you. He stares, gaze intense. Hundreds of voices, folded over each other, say his next words.* "Do not. Cheat."

*Lurk's gazes lifts, and he smiles sharp teeth as he gestures to the cards still sitting in front of him*
