______ "No, be careful!" Fern called to one of the hatchlings under his care. They're always so reckless, he thought. How do they all grow up to be such fine dragons when they're this chaotic as younglings? Swishing his tail anxiously, he flew to scoop up the young dragon wreaking havoc upon their clutchmates.
"No more climbing on your sibling's block tower! Someone could get hurt." He scolded, carrying the hatchling to a safer spot. These children will be the death of me.

______ Fern is a seemingly anxious dragon, always fretting over small things; Especially when it comes to the young dragons under his care. He is the designated babysitter of the clan, running the hatchery and having raised nearly every dragon younger than him. His mate, Cloud, is the exact opposite, preferring adventure and danger over domesticity. It's a wonder among the clan how they got together.
