Snow. It’s all snow, as far as her sight can reach. The northern winds tossed her nest far away from her family. Since then, all she has known is snow. After exhausting years of searching, her heart gave up, and she laid on the white veil that covered the soil. No more food was in sight.
“Alright, you win. You can take me.” The tundra whispered to the wind, as she closed her eyes and waited for her time to come. As the snowstorm was gradually covering her, her fur suddenly revealed a faint glow. The glow cracked and made its way through the tundra’s skin, and it glowed with a powerful and gorgeous golden color. The tundra snapped out of her apathy, finding herself covered in golden, glowing veins. After examining herself for a while, she noticed far in the distance, a light, as golden as the one coming from her new features. She rushed as if all those days with no food never happened, and found a town of tundras. She cried and fainted on the place. She finally found a place to call home.
The villagers tended her wounds and hunger and they were all amazed by the gorgeous veins she presented. They happily accepted her as one of their own. But she knows better than anyone that she will move to a place where she can finally forget about the damn snow!
