- Hatchling Biography

Marlowe was born to a group of wildclaws who made their home quite near to the then-young clan Amberspire. Skirmishes between the two groups were commonplace as land and resources were continually competed over.

Marlowe's clan wasn't much for peaceful negotiations, but unlike them, Amberspire was growing in number and strength by the day.

- Adolescent Biography

Raised with a hatred of the clan that worked in opposition to his, Marlowe fought tooth and nail for his birthright, impressing Queen Pepper with his viciousness.
The fae would speak to him directly, requesting he join on as one of her soldiers. He lunged at her in response, and was immediately pierced and pinned to the ground with tendrils of Arcane magic while the fae hovered, untouched.

He said he'd think about it, and she cocked her head to the side and intoned that it would be wise for him - and key for his clan's safety - to do so.

He left his clan the next day.

- Adult Biography

Unsurprisingly, Marlowe was quite the loner, with little desire to be associated with the clan at first. But for the sake of his small, stubborn family, he worked dutifully as a guard.

It was enough for Pepper to choose to reward him, and the fae one day came to his post accompanied by an unfamiliar Wildclaw who she introduced as Kestrel.

The two bonded fast and are now willing sentries just outside the clan walls, constantly on the lookout for any unknown dragon that wishes to approach.

Though vicious to any unwelcome visitors, those who speak with him on proper terms now find him to be quite amicable, even gentlemanly.
