 History
Petunia was not born a Light dragon and yet she still sought to join the Lumiversity of her own volition. Unfortunately, seeking out the school was both the first and last time that Petunia demonstrated any sort of noticeable ambition. She shows little interest in learning from the other dragons and even less interest in doing any teaching herself. This has caused some grumblings amongst certain faculty members who wish that Petunia would be stripped of her title. But she is still a Professor, and, well... tenure.

 Role
While technically the Professor of Child Development, Petunia's actual duties amount to egg sitting and not much else. Although this is a perfectly respectable duty within any clan, there are two major problems with someone taking it on as their main job at the Lumiversity. One, the school goes through frequent periods of having no eggs whatsoever. And two, even when there are eggs to be looked after, their parents are usually more than capable of incubating their own nest. Petunia is generally only called upon on the rare occasions when both parents need to step away from their clutch at the same time. In her free time Petunia enjoys naps. A whole lot of them.
