Sodoki is the elder brother of Ren and eldest son of the Kazuka-clan chief, born in the Land of Fire. He turned blind in young years and was not able to be become a craftsman like the rest of his clan. Instead he trained his sense of hearing to stay as independent as possible and even learned how to fight without seeing anything.
During the war Sodoki's village was destroyed. Sodoki tried his best to help his father to keep the clan together and they used to help even shinobi of other clans that were hurt from the battles. One of those shinobi turned against the clan after his recovery and killed Sodoki's father before Sodoki was able to kill the attacker. As eldest son he became head of the clan, but was left deeply mistrusting against strangers after this incident. With his brother he trys to rebuild their clan ever since. To rebuild their clan, they needed especially money and Sodoki asked as many clan member as possible to chance it in other countries, while he and the rest of the clan stayed in the Land of Fire as sellswords. Character: ❖ - wary - ❖ ❖ - self-confident - ❖ ❖ - protective - ❖ ❖ - calm - ❖ Sodoki is a skilled swordsman. His Kuchiyose is a giant bat whose echolocte abilities Sodoki is able to use, too. With it he can feel the area around him and orientate. For his clan he decided to use the help of human traffickers and used his fighting skills to capture people – also shinobi – and sold them. The money was used for rebuilding their village. When his clan tries to capture Haruka and Naruto on their journey through the Land of Fire, Sodoki is challenged by both young ninjas and can only be defeated due to Haruka's mentioning of his missing brother Ren. Sodoki is later arrested by the Anbu and serves time in prison ever since. |
