Biography
cold to our protagonist. far colder, perhaps even antagonistic, to the local group of vampires.
"so you dont know where the girl is?" rodger tilts drowns head as the grave digger just stares. they've been in a back and forth for a while now, and rodger is getting sick of it.
"what girl-"
thwack. thump.
the headless body falls backwards into an open, empty grave. rodger smiles, holstering their blade. he leans down, picks up the head, still with that vacant, uncaring expression, and turns to leave. at least drow got something out of this interaction.
he places the head a little too harshly on the table, because it seems to.. crack? pernillious smiles from its perch on the chandelier. "whats so funny."
"nothin." her smile grows. "wanna look inside of it?"
rodger, in contrast, frowns, brow furrowing. "and why would i do that, of all things." he doesnt get a response. with a sigh, he pulls out his blade, and cuts into the head, only hesitating momentarily. theres, not as much resistance as drow would've thought. pernillious grins.
the grave digger adjusts to lay on his back, hands over its chest like a corpse. where her head should be is instead a cluster of fungi, growing rapidly. he doesnt move to get up even after its done, after a new head almost identical to the last has taken its place upon the grave diggers neck. why should they? the dirt has been so kind to the grave digger, why would they be wary of it now?
