Nimbus' mother named her after a cloud because she was so dreamy, not at all down to earth as Banescale culture often demanded. However, as she aged up she became less like a cloud and more like a volcano. Intimidating. Ferocious. Seemingly cool and calm one minute, the next erupting in blinding fury of claws and teeth.
