You give your thanks to Rugan and leave the medical tent. Healing isn't a talent of yours, and if anything you'd get in the way rather than help at all. Still, you're sure there's something else that you can do around the clan.
So you begin to wander, to search. There's no shortage of dragons, but most seem to be doing well on their own already. With a sigh, you begin to double back, retracing your steps to try and find Abia. Through the haze of your sickness, you weren't able to quite understand what she was talking about, and you still need to thank her for her hospitality.
As you walk, you hear the rustling of a bush behind you. When you turn to investigate, it stops immediately. Yet as you get closer to the heart of the clan, it follows you. After this happens a few more times you finally stomp over to the sickly greenery.
You aren't prepared for what greets you.
Pulling back the plagueland native flora, you find a baby emperor. They blink back at you with three sets of eyes, colors of blue, gold, and purple. After the fit that Lightbringer threw, they had been thought to have gone extinct, or at least into hiding. Who would have thought there was one hiding out with Abia.
The head with blue eyes clears their throat before speaking, their voice deeper and more melodic than you expected. "Well, with that, we suppose we must introduce ourselves. My name is Mabli, these are my siblings Elisha," they nod to the middle, golden head, "and Kaezer," they finish introducing with a lowside glance to the farther, dark colored head. "I suppose you are here to turn us over? I will warn you that even if you manage to take us down, we are under the protection of Abia."
You shake your head, gingerly sitting down in front of them, basically exposing all of your weak points.
They eye you before relaxing, seemingly satisfied with your display. "Well," Mabli continues, "what is it that you want?"
