As you draw closer to the tree you find a small and petite veilspun resting atop one of its massive roots near a pooling of water. Her eyes are closed, though her head is upright, as if she was simply dozing. As you approach you find her hind legs splayed behind her limply in such a way that you begin to suspect something is wrong. Compelled to wander closer still, you make as though to call out to her, but before you can do so you are met with a very primal growl.

Startled, you back away as another golden veilspun curls over her back. He snarls again, and at this the chartreuse female opens her lids to reveal flame-hued eyes. With a gentle nudge of her forepaw, the golden veilspun relaxes, still glowering at you with deep water-imbued eyes.

"Don't mind him, Stranger. Stalleo has been protective of me ever since the incident which left my back legs lame. I know you approach with no ill-intentions. I am Vibeke. The dragons around here like to call me the 'All-Mother' due to my role in caring for the young of this grove."

"You don't seem to be of the normal sort we get around here, but if Rhune allowed you in then you are welcome at my tree. You seem curious - your eyes are full of questions. Come closer then and let me answer a few. Allow me to tell you my story..."
