There are few with a craft so despised and frowned upon than Naenai. Even other "Mad" Mages look at her with a mix of fear, disgust, and disapproval. She is well aware of her reputation, and tries to combat it with a pleasant and welcoming personality. Unfortunately, the many sleepless nights and abundance of "energizing" drinks she consumes means she comes across as more frazzled and twitchy than happy.

She avoids talking about her work, but all know that it is her true passion and her only love in life.

Naenia is fascinated with death, what comes after, and whether it can be undone. She long mastered the art of reanimating corpses, and now that particular endeavor bores her. She now wants to go one step further: she wants to bring a soul back, and place it in a body. As is her habit, however, she has gotten obsessed with one particular detail of the plan, and is now elbow deep (sometimes literally) in the construction of the perfect body to house a lost soul.
