Lowest Point - Horizon View

Gate Entrance ( phoenix metalwork gate )
Open Fully - wings are spread out upward
Closed Fully - wings are downward
In between - as the gate goes up, the wings are going towards an upward position
< doodle of this exists in map.clip >

one step into this district gives overwhelming warmth, no ice and snow to be found
metal-workers, passerby merchants / shipments heading in and out of districts or out of the gate
buildings are cluttered together mostly, workshops, homes, etc. are tightly packed together (below, ontop, etc. - think like grid but not quite as neat as grid )

BELOW / UNDERGROUND:
the underground can be incredibly loud but barely heard above
a lot of kiln work is done below in large workshops where there is greater space
( connects below under every district )

MIDDLE LEVEL / GATE LEVEL:
workshops above vary a lot but they're considerably smaller so the work there is less space taking
especially with all the passersby
there's a big stage area / plaza for events
shrine ft. huge gold statue of phoenix
the shrine and everything made around the statue has been added by every artisan in the district ( regardless of how long or little they spent there )
some just add some decoration, some add entire roofs, etc.
as a result, the shrine is very... unique looking and constantly changing over time
it's good luck for visitors and travelers to leave materials at the shrine for artisans to use
( the rarer - for this area - the better c: )

ABOVE / SKY BRIDGE AREAS:
sky train runs through all the districts on this level in their area
plenty of places to eat and chill
restaurants use metalwork from nearby metalwork shops
sometimes commissions to make elaborate machines that speed up food production
lantern makers, musicians, street performers, breweries, etc.
big stage area / plaza for events but not as big as the one below

innovators, inventions, traditions carried on, rivalry, competition

despite many metal-workers in this district - there is minimal air pollution
innovation has led to better working conditions
kilns that produce smog feed into multiple ventilation ducts that feed into machines that condense the smog into usable materials like smog bricks
many talks about improving the system is ongoing
ventilation systems in general are currently doing well down there
condensation is less of an issue than it was prior ( very long ago )

this district is adorned and accented with reds
many artisans will incorporate red into their work
most of the time their signatures will be somewhere on their work in a shade of red

additionally: statues, figurines, decoration, etc. feature horses, fire, phoenix ( & phoenix-like birds )
are all over this district - tiles, drapes, doors, bells, etc.
not uncommon to find little shrines outside workshops

plant-based ash gets delivered over to SW + SE + E districts for plants / sell
most work is sold in the next district over ( SE )
a lot of workshops just show off their skills while making their products here
and then sell in bulk some of their work to a SE district merchant they work with

what other district residents think of those from Chain Kiln (S / the gate)
intense, talkative folk, smart, braggy, condescending, loud - very loud, driven ( on that everyday grind ), hard-working, always moving, bustling, arrogant, often does not have time for you, workaholics, party animals, they never stop (this district is always "awake")

- prayers + offerings for -
  • bonds
  • relations - amity
  • harmony
  • love

not as warm as the Chain Kiln but warmer than other districts

this district has less buildings and more large open areas of tundra blooms
the sky train station is identical to the Chain Kiln and exists, but there isn't really an upper area,
there are steep stairways down to grass and ground / bloomed tundra
there are old stone pathways you walk to the buildings or areas of interest in the distance
plaza, cabin, villa, small village, small inn
mostly nature - rocks and many many flowers or plants - very sparse trees - small streams of water
(my brain goes to something similar like original animal crossing for the gamecube but not quite)
ppl come out here to enjoy scenery mostly / romantic type of destination / peaceful
( except for the parts nearby Chain Kiln c: )

the part of the district that borders Chain Kiln has restaurants and shops open
border near Sen Springs is mostly rocks and water, pathways towards West establishments

πŸ’πŸπŸπŸ‘
little shrines feature clay / stone / crystal / Earth etc. statues of monkeys and goats / rams / sheep
these little shrines are randomly scattered about
( from the outer wall - it can be seen that the shrines might make a heart shape ❀ )
visitors often write a note - maybe one about their life, love, relationships, emotion, or wish - and leave them at shrines ( the paper is provided - seed paper )
notes that start to sprout in the shrine should be patted to the ground around the shrine area
these patches will grow into flowers to be enjoyed by everyone
the longer the patch lives, the more good fortune comes the visitor's way
some say the stronger the positive emotion or energy you put into your note brings you better fortune
( appreciate the good things or people you have in life )

district has pinks as its accent color
can be seen throughout with crystals or petal-like decorations strewn about shrines / buildings

what other district residents think of those from Reverie Meadow ( SW / the prism fields )
quiet, friendly, lovely, wait there are residents there ?? who lives there ??, easygoing, too boring, make bank off of tourism, simple
