Born into a noble family, Shiverwings is elegant and well spoken. She spent most of her time growing up painting and became a very well known artist amidst her region of birth. While she loved her homeland dearly, she wished to travel for inspiration and to see new sights to paint and spent much of her youth travelling across Sornieth.

As she grew older, Shiverwing's travelling began to wane and she grew weary. She would settle in Singer's Brook as the quiet sereneness of the area would greatly appeal to her and grant her a good long place to rest and still continue her painting in peace. Shiverwings still occasionally travels within the windswept region, mostly to the great city of Aergate to purchase supplies.

While Shiverwings had planned to return to her homeland after her travles, she had grown to greatly love her clan and the surrounding area of Singer's Brook and so decided to settle down there. But when her final years approach, she will to return to Starwood Strand so she may lay to rest beneath the purple trees of her birthplace.
