Truth was but a hatchling when he first realised that other dragons did not seem to grasp an extremely obvious fact about the world around them: that the universe was dying due to the physical manifestation of entropy. 'YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH,' is a phrase that dragons quickly learned to ignore, much to the Fae's frustration, until 'Truth' became the only name he ever remembered being called by (he supposed it was better than 'Doomsayer' or 'That One Weirdo Who Scares The Hatchlings'). To this day, Truth is convinced that the main reason he isn't taken seriously is because regardless of how dramatically he flares his crest and bats his wings, nothing will ever make up for the complete lack of any flair or inflection present in his voice, no matter how much he tries.

He believes The Shade to be chaos and entropy made sentient, and the Arcanist to be their only hope of survival, being that he managed to face The Shade one on one and live. While lacking brute strength, Truth is quite intelligent, and has learned to utilise his small size to his advantage; while he prefers to sneak up on unaware opponents for that delicious Critical Hit bonus, he is actively working on maxing out his Dodge stat.
