Eteri was hatched in Listera. Nothing much of significance happened in her years of living there, that is until one day she got separated from her parents during a trip and instead ended up in Shadestria. She was still quite young and couldn't remember where she was meant to be. The Shadow kingdom had taken her in.

Since the time she was old enough, she trained to be a spy. That's when she met her best friend for life, Kardi. Their stories were quite different, but they related to each other's life without parents. They found they shared much in common and would often work together later on.

The possibility of war was ever coming closer and so eventually they were sent to spy in Listera. That didn't go quite so well for Eteri as a very clever spy hunter, Azurite, had found out who she was. Although instead of trying to capture her, he wanted to court her instead. She ended up liking the young dragon as well. When he revealed he knew who she was, she had to make a choice, and she chose to be with him. In turn she would have her freedom, under his supervision, and she had to turn in her best friend, although it was for Kardi's safety and she came to no harm. Eteri lived with Azurite in Listera ever since.

After the war things had settled down. Eteri was enjoying her life here with him. Queen Silky had come to trust her and Kardi and sent all three of them to assist the neighboring Water kingdom with a spy issue of their own. After investigating it was clear they had a whole different mysterious issue than they expected, and the suspected spy was actually someone sent to secretly investigate from the Arcane kingdom. That someone was named Vespasian. Eteri knew her best friend had fallen in love with the dragon ever since she saw him. He became a good friend to them all.
