Having received more of his mother’s genes than his father’s, Edgar is more spirit than dragon. While he can still see and interact with the mortal realm, he also sees a second world, overlaid on the first, that remains invisible to most dragons. When he was a hatchling, it was hard for Edgar to grasp that other dragons couldn’t see the incorporeal creatures that existed all around him, for they were as real to him as any physical dragon. Thankfully, his mother could empathize with his plight, and taught him everything she had learned about navigating both worlds. By the time he was ready to leave his birthclan, Edgar could fully control his ability to transition between dimensions and had gained a deep appreciation for his rare talent. The only worry that remained was if he could find a clan that valued his ability too..
