Ruth is one of many bards that heralds from the septic swamplands of Plague where she learned the vile ways of song and chant. She returns there on occasion to fine tune her harp and drink from the fetid waters that lubricate her voice.

She's a dramatic dragon, one for flair, making scenes, and pronounced expressions of her emotions. Her songs are no different, all of which she acts out meticulously without a muscle out of place. She's an entertainer for the most part, traveling alone as she tours about Sornieth where her profits go back to the Pustules where she first made her debut in the Cistern. When visiting, she often relishes on her adventures with Foehammer who enjoys making note of the most exciting parts.

When not selling her wails for coin, Ruth is a hunter though is not picky of what. As a Plague bard, she's skilled in the art of rending and healing though prefers the former. A bloodthirsty beast, she notably wiped a town off the face of Sornieth, claiming that, "It was a place of sin and woe. A speck on a map that was a mistake to begin with." The Gallows of Sundown, however, is a tune that will forever haunt a small corner of Earth where the streets hum with a distinct and empty tone.
