Barri was one of the few in his Clan that never liked fighting. As a Crow in a Clan of fierce warriors, this was unacceptable, and he soon found himself ostracized from his bretheren. He soon felt desperate to leave, trapped in his own mind from his self loathing for not wanting to fight even as he watched his family dying. His only friend, Athena, did her best to teach him, but when his nestmate died right in front of him on his second excursion from Camp, he couldn't stay any longer and vanished from the camp.

Weeks later found him with another Clan, living in the lap of luxury within a strange, new, mixed group. He thought he had escaped the fighting until once again a hatchling was killed right in front of him. Confused and broken hearted, he remembered a conversation he once had with Athena about responsibility and realized that with his Crow fighting abilities he could make a difference for this Clan that had helped him when he was feeling worst. No more would he allow his loved ones to die, not when he had the ability to help them thrive.

-Barri's mate is his long time childhood friend Athena, who supported him in academics and magic during his training, as well as socially and emotionally after he fled their old Clan.

-Barri's fighting style involves both dexterity and strength and he can hit hard and fast with ease.

-Barri's father was still alive when he left the Clan, but both his mother and sister who had been training as fighters just as he did were killed early on in battle.
