Uruz admits to herself that she may have taken the offer to become a Mercy in haste before giving it a second thought, but the scathing, judging words from others in her past only fueled her desire to prove that she has the capability to conquer and bring strength to her titles.
Having already earned her markings and passed her trials, she had achieved the greatest honor in Her eyes, and carried out Her will for months.

Is this really what she wanted, though? She proved her naysayers wrong, yes, but it left her feeling hollow once she succeeded in passing the trials. It seems so.. petty now, to have earned her title as a Necromancer, a Neutralizer, just to spite her doubters. The more Uruz dwelled on the thought, the less she felt that this was what she truly desired.

Uruz gazed upon the disease-ridden land laced with the miserable moans and groans of Ghouls that were severed from their Mother. She had contributed to their misery in a pursuit to satiate her own pride, she realized. This isn’t what she wanted anymore, and it only solidified her decision to become a Mercy. To be born anew with a different mindset.
