xxx Heimdall was born with a curse...or a gift. It all really depends on who you ask. The daughter of a priestess, Aruzhan and a Vampire, Arogog. Heimdall inherited her curse from her father. She was born a Vampire, something which was not deemed possible. It was thought the one could only become a Vampire through the bite of another, but Heimdall was never bitten, she was born one.

 		Heimdall was mainly raised by her mother, who tried to raise her as a scribe like she had done with Thoth and teach her the basics to magic but Heimdall seemed to be void of it at first. This was the first clue to Heimdall's curse. Aruzhan brushed this off as Himdall being a little slow when it came to magic after all not all dragons were great users of magic, but then came the wilted objects.

 Stones, plants, and other objects appeared wilted and drained of their essence. Stones became soft and brittle, plants turned dark and wilted away. Aerzhan had only seen this happen around her lover but he wasn't around at the time. The last clue was when Aruzhan laid whiteness to Heimdall killing a bird and instead of eating it, drinking it's blood and leaving the drained corpse on the ground. She was a Vampire just like her father.

xxx Aruzhan arranged for Arogog to come and teach Heimdall the ways of a vampire. With her father's teaching Heimdall learned quickly how to absorb magic from her surrounding and living creatures and how to then cast various spells and use the magic she absorbed. Heimdall had the key to immortality and great power but it came at a cost.

Blood. Heimdall needed it to thrive. No matter how much she tried to control it she needed blood. Heimdall did not want to hurt the dragons that visited her mother so when she was unable to find creatures to hunt she would disappear to kill dragons. Heimdall felt ashamed, dragon blood was tastier and more powerful than the ones from the animals she hunted. Her thirst for it grew and grew and so she spent longer times away from her mother's temple.

Heimdall whishes for a cure of her Vampirism. It might grant her power and immortality but Heimdall just wants to help her mother at the temple. She often tries to put off her thirst for blood as much as possible, trying to live of meals that normal dragons do, but at the end Heimdall will always disappear to quench her thirst.

On one of Heimdall's search for blood she ran into a charming imperial who was a resident of the Wavecaller Palace. His name is Gracie and she finds herself very attracted to him, though she has not told him her dark secret.
