Tarkus

Every blade is sharp; the arrows fly where the victims of your armies lie.
Where the blades of brass and arrows reign, then there will be no sorrow, be no pain.

Tarkus' life began far from the Windswept Plateau in the lands of Light, the Sunbeam Ruins. How his egg came to be carried to, and abandoned on, the grassy plains is a mystery, but it was discovered by G ypsy on a routine hunting expedition, and she immediately took pity on it and brought it back to her lair, where her mate guarded their recently-laid first clutch of eggs. The little Light orb hatched within days of the green-patterened eggs among which it was nestled, and the golden-eyed hatchling within raised with two Wind-born brothers, the Mirror Zappa and Guardian Rundgren.

Though he picked up the relaxed nature of his adoptive parents, he also possesses the keen and curious mind typical of Light dragons. He drove his family to distraction with his countless demands to know the whys and wherefores of everything around him, but they encouraged him to nurture this trait and use it to find his Ward and his happiness.

Combining the traits of the Light to which he was born and the Wind that raised him, Tarkus is an explorer, journeying far from his home to see things he never imagined and learn all he can. He returns home frequently to the warmth and security of his family, bringing them trinkets, stories and scrolls full of notes on his discoveries.
