......."They have nothing to offer us. Why should we worship them?"
"You know..." Svarnaetti hummed softly, tapping his claw on his blade, "Gefährlich is cool and all. He's like us. He likes to cause chaos and take lives.." he continued to hum, glancing around the rather small cave his victim sat inside of. "But Valdameistari.. hmm.. something about him drives me crazy..." ྿ "NO! It's supposed to be ME! Lygari is supposed to carry the legacy.. He's not supposed to die, he's not the one who's supposed to die, Kaeri! It's supposed to be me.. ME, IT'S ME! NOT HIM! NO!" .."You just don't understand... I can't do it without him, Kaeri.." |

name means 'black night'. twin brother of lygari. old "trio" tribe used to be abt 7 members, they all unalived, leaving it to just lygari and svarnaetti. they later found kaeri.
he's the one that does most of the thrill hunting; he'll chase and tire the victims/prey, taunting them as kaeri or lygari would take their life.
if you see him, you better hope you can outstam him because he will stop at nothing to chase you down
he's probably *slightly* crazy, finding joy and excitement in chasing things down.
The distant shouting and crying of an unfamiliar voice could be heard close to the swamp. The abrupt cries for help caught the attention of Lygari, quickly alerting his brother. Perhaps the two could score a dinner tonight after all.
"Get away from me! I did nothing wrong! Gefährlich is going to torture your soul and Saellifethr will be there to watch! You're making such a mistake.. Please, leave me alone!" A white Bja'Dyr shouted, being knocked to the ground with a loud thud. The laughter of a man could be heard as well as what sounded like two knives being clanked together.
"Lassie, no escape! You got too close to our tribe. You and your species are a threat.. we're just declining your numbers one by one," the man muttered, clearing his throat before kicking Kaeri down and firmly pressing his foot against her chest, slowly leaning down as he applied more pressure to his leg.
"We've grown tired of being ambushed at night by those of your own species. Better yet, we'll stop your bloodline here." The man growled sharply under his breath, slowly pushing one of his knives closer to her throat.
"I.. I was .. just.. looking for a friend," she hissed softly under her breath, quickly wrapping her hands around his wrist and pushing his arm away.
Suddenly, the large branches above the man shifted, one thud behind the man as moments later another one was several feet away from Kaeri's head. As quickly as that, the life of the human was gone, red painting her delicate feathers.
She laid there for a moment, quickly looking around as she aimed her focus on the one male who seemed to be enjoying the buffet. Terrified, she quickly jumped to her feet, dusting herself off before she'd clear her throat.
A soft growl came from the one figure, slowly approaching Kaeri as it'd tap one of its claws on what seemed to be a pipe, likely for blowing darts. Kaeri slightly cowered, gently raising her hands and opening her palms, worried about the next move.
"Poor little lady ... She asks for another chance ... They chose to ignore your cries, see where that led you? You should not be alone, death will follow.. for they never cared."
"Aumingja litla dama ... Hún biður um annað tækifæri ... Þau völdu að hunsa grát þinn, sjá hvert það leiðir þig? Þú ættir ekki að vera einn, dauðinn mun fylgja.. þeim var aldrei sama." The one male hummed, gently putting away his pipe.
"I.. I don't quite understand what you're saying. My tribe, we.. we grew up with little communication," she was quick to say, sudden pressure on her beak as his hand quickly silenced her. She growled quietly, grabbing his hand and shoved it away.
"Quite rude of you! Let me finish my sentence before you do that," Kaeri hissed, repeating the action onto the male. A deep growl followed by a chuckle was heard, followed by the clearing of a throat.
"You cried their names, almost as if they'd respond. The so-called Deities are gone, they mean nothing to anybody! You are a fool for believing that they'd actually put their lives in front of your own. Such foolishness should be punishable."
"Foolishness? The Deities have always been there when I needed them the most! They've provided me a bright light in the dark, ensuring my safety. You both are the fools for not putting your tru-", she was quickly cut off, knocked back down to the ground, a position similar to just moments before.
Suddenly, the male with the red-stained face began to raise his voice, pointing his spear between her eyes.
"Where are your gods now? Where are they to save you? Nowhere. All your years of worshiping is just time wasted, and we're here to prove that they're nothing but liars. They don't exist, and if they did, they don't care about you. All they care about is keeping their names high on the pyramid, so they never get forgotten. You've been brainwashed."
