» Theme: A Nostalgic Dream

It all began with this huge pumpkin Gladiolus had managed to grow. They were thrilled by the success since it had taken over a year for them to grow anything on this cursed soil. Celebrations were in order and a feast was to be prepared - made out of said pumpkin.

It was stored in the Alchemist's kitchen because it had the most free space to accommodate such a large object without being in the way of everyday work. If only they had put it anywhere else. It was Anjou the clumsy Alchemist who eventually tripped over it regardless of its rather safe position. One moment of carelessness while being deep in thoughts and the small Nocturne had landed face first on the wooden floor of her own kitchen, grumbling and cursing her own lack of attention.

It got worse though. Way worse. Remembering what happened when they had that white floofball of a dragon in their lair, lost in the thorns that shield this cursed lair from the outside world, Anjoulas could only watch in horror as the alchemical substance slowly dripped down the huge orange pumpkin, covering it almost in its entirety.

Lured in from the surprised scream her assistant Chaisey had entered the kitchen and froze right where he stood, eyeing the pumpkin with growing unease. »... don't you dare say a word, I remember what happened the last time that 'soup' of yours touched something it shouldn't have«, he hissed, just to make sure to cut Anjou off, before she could even begin to stutter up an apology.
»... w-what are we gonna do now?«, she whispered and looked up to him in utter panic. »Wait and see is my best guess. Unless you have some sort of explanation as to what this combination of ingredients might do to a pumpkin.«

And so ... that was exactly what they did. Keeping the mishap a secret for now and trying to go about their day as usual. Nothing seemed to happen and for a few days Chaisey and Anjou hoped it had been enough to wipe the concoction off the pumpkin and cleaning it with clear water might have stopped whatever reaction could have happened afterwards.
But when the day finally arrived on which they wanted to prepare and eat the pumpkin they were in for a surprise!

They already got greeted by the door when a furry little shadow got in their way and two big brown eyes looked up to stare in the eyes of two very confused dragons who entered just because they were expecting a pumpkin lying around in a corner, ready to be prepared into delicious dishes.
»Sweets«, were the first words murmured from the dark figure that had yet to be illuminated by daylight when Darjeeling opened the door some more to get an actual glance at this thing. And when the small creature finally was revealed ... obviously the first words from the clan members were »Anjou ... what happened?!«
