The infection is characterized by prominent yellow 'veins' that appear across the wings and body.
How violent and unreasonable the victims of this disease become, has had them sometimes be confused with creatures that are Shade infected. Unfortunately leading to zealots attempting to eliminate them in their paranoia. This does not always go the best for the crusading party.
For on top of the infected giving no heed to damage done to themselves, their minds no longer limit the strength of their bodies actions and they will fight with all of their power.
Regardless if it rips themselves apart in the process.
There is an unfortunate trend of those who idolize those who take on this disease willingly, seeing them as having embraced the true power of their wild and beastly nature. This is partly because of the fact that the damage done to the mind's limiters is permanent, and if one survives, they could then potentially perform great acts of strength for themselves or others.
That this comes at great risk to themselves, is seen as just another part of the challenge.
