the chronicler of the clan, bragi writes letters and stories and journal entries in a practiced hand and an ageless wisdom. the most clear and concise with her words, with unparalleled memory, the best to summarise and report on any happenings nearby. most know her for her dry wit, the roll of her eyes and her crooked smiles, the smell of ink and parchment that hangs about her. few know more.
once inseperable from nataliya, the two were suddenly set adrift by the cosmos itself for years, ages, millenia. and thus somewhere deep within, bragi is fury, is resentment, is sorrow immeasurable. unable to move on from what she believes is nataliya's betrayal, she let it fester— and sometimes, when the reminder grows too deep, lashes out at the other clanmates with an eternity of lonely hurt and a razor-sharp tongue when pushed, when drowning in a mire of memories she cannot shut out.

- rancor appoints malice its sibling.
- lyall, houhia, ceres and malice (and by extension rancor) meet during a trade fair for scholars and mages. the three stay in contact.
- ceres rescues alya, lyall and malice help nurse him back to health.
- hael, seeking alya, worms themself into rancor's heart and upon her insistence, joins the group.
- alamorn and stardiver, while on official business, decide a bigger group would be prudent for their operations, and join the group.
- rancor adopts stardiver into the sibling triangle.
- stardiver comes back from an outing with etude, the latter insisting he just wants to settle a debt. he ends up staying. i've reason to believe the debt was mostly contrived.
- alamorn finds nataliya, shaken, lost, near death and without memory (ha, as if.)
- i find nataliya. they're all hiding something from me. she's hiding from me.
- echiro and lyall get into a fight in a local settlement. he recognises alya and insists on staying. unable to get rid of him, alya reluctantly agrees.
- yesha shows up. she doesn't seem to have anywhere else to go, and ceres is too kind for their own good.
- she can see something in echiro. she sees something in me, in her. oh, little oracle. you know too much. it's a good thing your mind is too addled to give credit more often than not.
- some manner of dig effort... rancor, malice, alamorn and star insisted on helping, and came back with... otieno, was aer name? yes.
- ae seem to insist on book-keeping— i'm the chronicler here, back off.
- ... aer performance is satisfactory, though i wish they'd cut down on the virulent-looking beverages.
- chipotle... ran from his job, only to continue pursuing it. get away from nataliya. get away from her.
