Unnervingly comfortable wielding several scissors a hand, Babblebrooke is a skilled craftsman with a specialty in paper arts - particularly lanterns. His folded lanterns are designed so they unfurl at the touch of flame, eventually flying off of the ground or water suspension in a fantastic arc as they burn entirely through. As such he is not frequently at his home clan, as his commissions for festivals and weddings across Sornieth often call his attention elsewhere. He is a stoic dragon with little obvious emotion offered to those around him. Some claim that they have seen a tear or two escape his eye at the sight of his lantern's launch, possibly overwhelmed, though he would be quick to deny it.

He has never been involved in a romantic relationship. His work is his true mistress. This is unfortunate for the gaggles of young girls who find his mature looks and collected nature quite attractive in every clan he finds himself in - his handsome looks are evidently a waste.
