Shinoki

Son of the goddess of death Morana and the ever-grieving mortal Rinzler; his name means "Tree of Death"
While he doesn't maintain his mother's divinity, he inherits her powerful control of death magic, and thus sides to balance the endless growth of the Gladekeeper.

Adorned with withered branches and vines that still try to sprout despite his magical influence, that almost seem to have grown as a part of him; the Clan Duneberry symbol for death, the bleak birdskull; a viridian emerald ring that binds his magic to him; and his locket, holding a picture of his parents.
Those in the clan treat him with respect, perhaps even pity as well. While none are close with him, there are those who try to be, such as his half-sister Kiawa. The birdskull he wears is a gift from the clan leader; typically given to those grieving from a death. In his case it seems to indicate a bit more than just that.
