With a trapper for their ma and a herbalist for their pa, it’s no wonder that the children of Annan and Cernnunos are often drawn to the forest themselves. They’re raised among the branches of the Forgotten Woods, taught to live with the changing nature of the forest instead of in fear of it.

Often, these dragons find themselves most comfortable with trees and silence for company, pursuing the work of crafters and foragers - good, solid work done with the body and the heart. Despite their love for their parents, they often travel far from home, looking for their own patch of solitude to settle down in.

Quiet and observant like his Pa, Elric has always harbored a love for the understated beauty of wood. He’d accompany Annan on her trapping expeditions, but he’d spend the whole time looking for deadfall while his clutch-sisters helped their mother with the lines. As long as he foraged herbs for their father’s poultices at the same time, it was allowed, so he kept at it. An early gift of a knife resulted in his first clumsy whittling attempts - a blocky psywurm toy for his younger sisters, a lumpy cerdae good luck charm for his ma. He’s improved over the years and now sells his trinkets along with his mother’s furs and father’s remedies at market, but he longs for new sights and new inspirations. He might just set off and find a new part of Sornieth to capture in wood.
