  • Inverter dates back to our first Great Departure when the clan became exclusively Ridgeback
  • No one is sure where the virus came from but many believe it comes from due to the fact we live underground as one of the side effects is sensitivity to sunlight
  • Now, our new hypothesis is that it comes from the Aethers...
  • Inverter changes the morphology of the host into that of which is akin to arthropods to protect the virus and host
  • Despite its seemingly helpful alterations, the virus brings along primitive natures which make cohabitation with the Inverted risky
  • The appearance the virus choses is at random but sometimes swayed by the affected dragon's breed
  • It's impossible to tell when one is infected or what class they'll turn out to be
  • Sometimes future infected dragons will show early signs such as ravenous appetites, thus we have plenty of food in store and don’t mind sharing it to other clans
  • Classes are assigned to the appearance it takes on due to the fact it often appears to stop short of a full transformation
  • Majority of cases show that the affected dragon will retain their base shape except for those who rarely make it into full transformation

    Anyhow, this is Class 1 of Inverter. class 1 is categorized by a third or less of a dragon's body changed by this virus. The virus tends to favor branching out from the legs and head of individuals but it's not uncommon that it takes form elsewhere.
    1Aa7fVM.png This is what Class 2 Inverter looks like. class 2 is categorized by about half of a dragon's body is changed. This is also when behavior starts to change... you can talk to Alonzo about that, he knows better than anyone.
