Uh-oh, looks like this Luminous Reaper wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt them, we'd really appreciate it if you instead could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, send them off in the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread (warning, you will get another traveler in return if you do this), or if you don’t want another traveler in return, this rest hub. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact Hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)!

Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it!

Neona is prone to spinning a yarn or two, but if there's one thing she'd never bluff about, it's her creative abilities - not that it would take too long for a dragon to see the fruit of them anyhow. Brimming out of her skull with ideas for new pastimes and games, Neona has quite a few credits under her belt for the creation of several newly-popular activities - such as this strange thing called "bowling" where dragons are supposed to throw heavy balls down a lane and see if they can knock over a set of pins on the other end. This one is quite popular among Sornieth youths.

Where does she get all of these ideas from? It's a trade secret. And also the fact that she can commune with the dead and thus grills them on the type of pastimes they enjoyed in ages gone by. Hey, it's a living.

1/5/2020, Clan Mavenlark: The Clan historian is getting a little too suspicious of my "brand new" game concepts. I don't know why she's invested this much time in sussing me out, but regardless, i'm smart enough to know when I gotta go.

1/5/2021, Clan Alidranix: I've arrived at this small Arcane clan off in the Crystalpine Reaches. Everybody's been really friendly, except for the Queen's daughter. Every time I pass by her, she gives me a dirty look and scoffs. Not sure what her problem is, but she hasn't tried to confront me.

9/12/2021, The Fount of Travelers: I decided to go to a sanctuary in the Gladekeeper's domain for weary travelers. I've stayed here a long time; no one seemed to think much of my "brand" new ideas. I guess there are a lot of other creative individuals here, so it's not as suspicious. But now a couple of circus performers, Razzle and Eckhart, are asking me to help them come up with new ideas for their performances. Their routines are age-old traditions. I'm not sure if my...creative process will hold up under that. Plus, Razzle is originally from my home clan. I'm starting to get nervous he'll remember me and why I left my clan in the first place...so I'm heading out.

9/13/2021, Gladeshadow Province: Wow. Who knew such a little territory, hardly known to outsiders, could be so cheerful and safe. Boring! Absolutely no one had any interest in my talents. Apparently there was already a "super creative" dragon who offered her ideas for free just to "help the wellbeing" of all the residents. Totally lame! Plus, she didn't talk to ghosts like I do, which also made her super dull. However, on the topic of spirits, I met some very strange residents upon my visit, including a wandering soul who refused to speak to me, an animated rock statue, and alien. It was actually kinda unnerving how many weirdos were hanging around, perfectly fine and under the radar. I almost considered staying for a few more days, but a very upset-looking dragon fumed over and warned me to stop communing with ghosts, as it was interfering with his job. He had a very dark, dangerous aura; then the realization hit me--he was the grim reaper. I don't think he plans to hurt me, but I don't want to make it easier for him to do so. I'm leaving the Province first thing in the morning, and I hope to avoid the nature domain for the rest of my travels.

9/14/2021, Bright Shadows Clan: I headed out of the nature territory and crossed the sea only to find myseld in the Shadowbinder's domain, dozens of eyes on me as i walked throughout the forest and out to a big, ruin-like building, almost like a fortress, a massive imperial guarding the entrance along with a couple of other dragons. As i stated my motive of arrival, the guards moved aside and a Wildclaw greeted me and welcomed me to the clan, quickly escorting me into the building.
While the general atmosphere of the territory made the outside of the fortress look unwelcoming and cold, the inside of it was a complete opposite, instead being greeted by warm smiles and (for the most part) friendly faces. I was offered a warm meal and some tea, and passed the time hanging out with a specific set of individuals, namely miss Benitoite, who was quite lovely and let me ramble to her about my latest inventions as we were resting on a pillow pile in my designated space. We had tons of fun together!
The local clan's messenger pearlcatcher accompanied me to the borders of the territory, and my journey was on the go once more!

This dragon is a member of the Luminous Reapers subspecies. Offspring they have may be eligible to be registered on the subspecies registry if they meet the gene requirements - check the forum requirements to see!

The general idea is that I am going to create 365 unique traveling dragons, send them off into the world, and see what happens. I'm also going to complete mini-challenges along the way using travelers. If that interests you, consider checking the challenge thread out!
