Orpheus loves two things above all else: writing laments and ballads on his Veilspun Verse, and Eurydice. He spends most of his days composing, and most of his evenings singing his compositions, either to the lair at large or to Eurydice in a more private setting.

In the myths:

Orpheus was a musician, poet and prophet in Greek mythology. The most famous story about him is the one in which he attempts to save his wife, Eurydice, from the Underworld after her untimely death. Hades and Persephone agree to let him leave with her on the condition that he doesn't look back at her during the trek back to the surface.

Orpheus nearly succeeds, but as he reaches the entrance of the Underworld, he turns back to make sure his wife is behind him. Seeing as she herself hasn't made it to the surface yet, Eurydice quickly vanishes back into the Underworld.

Boreal Flame's very first Veilspun, completely re-gened from a Ridgeback dragon. Orpheus is very likely the most expensive dragon we've ever acquired.

Literally the prettiest boy alive. Don't tell Eros... or Apollo for that matter.
