Hatched to a family who didn't want him and left for dead, it's beyond a miracle that Miskunn was found. And by the royal family of the City of Roses, no less. And so Miskunn lived a life of luxury, always having everything he could ever want, except a life, really. Not like he minded- the young prince was always invested in his books, he barely noticed when people were there. But still, it was a noticeable thing- reading of grand adventures where a group of friends would heroically save the world. And he had... none.

One day, this changed. The Raven Prince was out in the City, and he encountered a beggar. Not an uncommon sight, really. But this beggar, he was different from the rest with his starry wings and small form, as well as the fact he was barely a few months older than the prince, if he could tell. And so Miskunn gave the streetcrow a coin, and was thanked profusely. The beggar then scurried away, and turning back, he found his bag gone- and with it, his books. Upset, the prince followed the beggar and, after a lengthy talk, the two agreed to a deal- the thief wouldn't steal from Miskunn again, and Miskunn would let him keep the coins.

After a long time of this agreement, the two started talking to each other, and became friends. Artiso- the thief- became a constant presence in the palace where Miskunn lived, and there are rumors floating around that the two are not just friends, though no conclusion has been reached as to the truth of these.
