 When the clan of witched decided to stay in her land, she figured there was no point in trying to flee or fight them off. Easier to just observe, passive and quiet in the dark canopy. Ever-changing members of the lair made the time pass faster. What she was waiting for she didn't know, finding more little things fascinating with every new moon. Tired from a life of running away, she rested her head on a branch, and gazed down at the new-ish young fae girl. She noticed little things, like how the girl would usually sit away from the rest but was welcomed with glee when she didn't. Like the way her eyes lit up upon discovering a new plant to use in her spells. Tsukiko noticed that the girl spoke aloud her notes as she wrote them, figuring it out as she argued with herself. She noticed the girl enjoyed sunbathing and jumping spiders and laughing when she errored in a tonic or potion. She noticed the way her own heart sped up just a touch when the girl was near. Tsukiko noticed, suddenly and with a start, that the girl had just noticed her.
