Leythan is a highly introverted dragon who values his privacy to an almost eccentric degree. He enjoys his alone time; a lot more than most. Much of his writing talent comes from excessive practice from being alone and not having a lot else to do. He does not like to meet new dragons and is content with knowing maybe three his entire life.

Leythan was born in Gladebough Village within the thick canopy of the Viridian Labyrinth. He moved to the Starfall Isles because he was very introverted, and it was impossible to be left alone back home since so many dragons knew him. He bought his little cottage from an eccentric Fae who needed money to move to the Sunbeam Ruins and join a growing collective of dragons studying Luminax from afar, something which, if you asked him, seemed silly at best.
Here, in his new quieter life in Starmoon Village, he picked up an old hobby of his: writing. Leythan has been writing since he was a child, though no surviving pages of his early hatchling work exist. He made sure of it. He knew he was a better writer now though, and could definitely make some treasure and gems if he published. One mild concern though: if they got popular enough, eventually he would be hounded by the press or fans or whatever other ghoulish notion of socializing. So, wanting to preserve his peaceful and quiet life by himself, he created several different pen names and identities to be used for his various writings.

Poems and Musings from a "PC Lightfall", A Skink in Time from Coralmist of the Water Flight, Whisperings of the Void penned by Terra. All Leythan's own work, though no one besides very close friends knows. So paranoid he is about his identity as these authors being known that he has any and all royalties and money sent to a PO box, which he then has friends or very rarely himself in disguise go pick up. As "hilariously paranoid" as a friend put it it is, it has worked and he's kept to his ordinary and solitary life.

One of the very few dragons Leythan is close to, and his lover. He met her in the village at the market. As it turned out, she was a big fan of his books and had been slowly deducing his identity, so he befriended her to keep a watchful eye out and misdirect her. Eventually, the two fell in love and all that misdirection stopped mattering because she moved in with him.

A close friend of Leythan's, the two sometimes have little art exchanges (he gives her short poems, she gives him her art pieces). She also sometimes delivers his mail from the PO box. The two share many qualities, such as a love for art, the creative process, and disliking socializing (though shes not as extreme about it as he is; she has more than five friends!).
Emerald Webwing Jade - Pet

Leythan found Jade being sold as an exotic pet from a recent expedition out to collect materials and food. The bird had apparently self tamed and the warriors figured they could make an extra bit of treasure off her. Leythan found her quite interested and adopted her soon after seeing her and named her Jade. Jade, as is her nature as a bird, is the best and worst thing to happen to his life if you ask him. She is quite obsessed with snacking on flies.
