The snows of observation and the ice of shackles bound grated at the Skydancer, wishing hard for most of his birth flight to do more than just stand aside and watch. Their land was melting because they did nothing but watch, wait, do absolutely nothing as the Southern Icefield melted away from under their claws.

Soon, he had enough, choosing to leave and join another flight that could actually do what needed to be done when it needed to be done. He would not wait until it was too late to retaliate.
