Euthymios arrived from the Southern Icefields, and to the Squall, he seemingly joined the clan on a whim after being driven out of his birthhome. However; many dragons have speculated that this may not be the case, and are somewhat mistrustful of the background he gives himself. Nevertheless, most know not to bother him about it, as the only beings he tells his true story to are the Imperators. (And perhaps Ayesha, his Crimson Emperor.)

Euthymios is a stoic figure, and often prefers to observe every single variable of the situation before acting. He seems to have boundless patience, and is content to work towards his goals at a slow but steady pace. Depending on who you are, he can seem either cold and calculating, or calm and wise.

The dragons of the Squall are almost divided on whether to trust him or not, but Eidothea has deemed him both powerful and trustworthy enough for a place among the Councillors. So far, her judgement has proved believable, as Euthymios conducts himself as both an adept mage and sound lawmaker.
