As her name might suggest, Faded has been long forgotten in the archives of time and history. Ironically, she's also the sole dragon who appears in every single hatchling's nightmares at least once to console them. A knight in silky robes and seeming to carry the brightest star in her wings. To fight off whatever monsters and beasts lurk, to chase off the shadows with a lantern in her maw and to wipe away their tears once it's all over. And when the hatchling wakes up, they are left only with a lingering feeling of warmth and her name on the tips of their tongues. By leaving no traces of their nightmares, an added consequence is that none will ever remember her presence or name. But Faded is content with that, as long as she can continue to protect hatchlings.
