Wind-bound Engineer

Incredibly smart and steadfast, Pearlite has dedicated her life to machinery and advancements. Resourceful and determined, she dedicates most of her time to building and crafting new machines, no matter how small. Her once paralyzed wings now function with her technology and has been spread to others for support as well. She makes up for her lack of fighting capability with her machines, but tends not to make anything harmful or deadly. Her outgoing nature can be overwhelming at times, but her determination and skill is admired by most.

While Pearlite might have some strength that comes from carrying around heavy machinery, any offensive capability comes from her machines. Powered by the wind she can control, she uses this normally useless and weak ability to carry her and her machines to victory. She makes a wide variety of machines, but she normally makes more practical things over weapons. They can be complex which means they are easily broken by others that don’t rely on outside sources, but she’s learned enough about combat to be able to take others by surprise and eliminate that issue entirely.

Very energetic and fun loving, she loves to be around others. Pearlite likes to talk to and share ideas with others almost to a fault. She is very bad at keeping secrets and tends to ignore her wants and self for others. Despite this, she is very confident and determined. It’s very difficult to tear her away from her work, friends and other things she considers close. She likes to help out others and gives out things others need/ want like candy. While she isn’t dumb, she tends to space out and has trouble focusing on things she’s not 100% invested in.

Born in a place of innovation, Pearlite always enjoyed making and crafting things. She always spent her time in a shop or shopping for parts, always searching for new techniques to learn and new dragons to learn from. Others noticed her genius as her machines started to be spread within her community. While most enjoyed her work and welcomed all the new help and weapons, others grew jealous of her and wanted to have that fame and place in history as their own. These people grew bitter enough to where one day, they launched a silent attack on her. Pearlite grew ill with

an unknown disease before quickly falling to it without knowledge of where she even caught it. Now alive again, she continues her work, but will forever linger with the curiosity and wistfulness that her death brought her.
