Biography

Gael has been an orphan since birth, his clan razed to the ground by bandits. His favorite passtime is training, though he also enjoys hunting as well. He is an apprentice in the art of combat to Kord, a descendant of the Night Warriors. Similar to Kord, he sometimes overdoes it in his sparring and Zarla is needed. He harbors a deep hatred for bandits, thieves, and brigands alike, though the rest of the clan knows not of its severity.

During one of Count's nightly patrols around the vicinity of the clan, he discovered a grisly sight: A Shadow Clan den, denizens slaughtered, nests burned to the ground. He was shocked by such carnage, but shook it off and returned to his usual methodical way of thinking and immediately began the search for survivors. Corpses lay strewn about, and nests completely destroyed... As he was about to consider the Clan completely annihilated and return to his den, he noticed a faint trace of life energy near a pile of brush. He moved it aside, and saw an unconscious hatchling next to some egg shards. Filled with a sense of urgency, he took him in his grasp, quickly flying back to the clan shelter. He immediately woke up Zarla, who healed him. The next morning the hatchling awoke to a group of dragons staring over him... He quickly took to liking Count, and he decided to name the new member of the clan Gael.

Eventually, a travelling dragon named Kord came across The Honorbound. While he was checking around the clan, he seemed to hold a particular interest in Gael... And some time later he proposed the idea of teaching him the art of combat. Gael thought about it, and gladly accepted. This was an excellent opportunity to learn more about the art of combat. Thus his training began, and he went through it with fervent zeal, brought upon by a mixture of rage and determination. The clan has done so much for him. The least he could do is make sure it does not suffer the same fate as his birth clan...

I personally bought Gael from an auction house, and possibly saved him from being exalt fodder.
