A skilled engineer and roboticist, Lovelace is mainly known for...constantly taking naps. Most of the clan uses little to no modern Lightning technology, and Lovelace is much too preoccupied with their beauty rest to catch anyone up with the times. The only exception is Sparrow's prosthetic front leg, which they at first only begrudgingly agreed to look after. Now, Lovelace considers Sparrow to be their closest friend, and sometimes they even look forward to maintenance days. Sometimes.

But Lovelace is unwilling to open up with any other dragon, worrying it will come out that they're not a dragon at all, but a mechanical replica of one. If that were widely known, it would become clear that Lovelace is only faking sleep - and if it did, Lovelace fears that they would not be allowed to spend most of the day in their hoard of pillows and other soft objects. And that would be absolutely tragic, so it must remain a secret.
