The Teacher ◉ Escapist of the Garden ◉ The Deserter
1vem8WL.png "A-Ancient...Leetroot...Russula..." Her voice stuttered and struggled. Her heart raced and pounded as she perched herself atop of one of the many statues. Despite being a sore thumb in the daylight, she kept as still as the statue itself. Her eyes trained on the grassy floor, she watched the leaves ripple and flow. So unnatural, yet it was truly nature itself at work. Almost like water, it waved and rolled as if it breathed.

Ever so slowly, her wings spread out. She froze again as the movement of the ground suddenly stopped. Her eyes widened. It knew. It knew she was there. A surge of panic and fear propelled her forward, a terrified screech emitting as she launched herself into the air. Surges of vines and grass coiled around the air of where she once was. The nocturne's hat fluttered down to the ground below. As precious as it was to her, her life was more important. She only dared to turn back when she was high in the air. She watched as the vines slowly melted away as her hat sunk into the ground-just like it had the others.

She shivered, for that could have been her.

Medeni is a teacher of young hatchlings. She enjoys her job in herbology and enjoys teaching the youngins about the plant life around them. However, a field trip gone tragic has left her haunted and guilt ridden. Uncertain of what to do with herself, how long will it take for her to pull herself out of this rut and save those who have been left behind?
