Seer

B I O G R A P H Y

Seeking light, weaving tales from the glows and flickers of candles, Tourmaline found her calling in a clan further from home than she ever expected. Away from depths and blue waters, she met a Fae. They offered Tourmaline a new place, a new home, in exchange for following them through an Emperor’s wake. She agreed, despite all risks and the dangers that could emerge. She was stubborn, and careful.

It paid off, in the end. Tourmaline earned her rightful place within a small clan, filled to the brim with dragons from all walks, and all different places of origin. She settled there, for a long while, making herself at home in a routine. Gathering, scouting, sorting.
Within that time, sorting through texts and scouting, she became well respected within the clan, and eventually, she was handed the role of their coordinator. She was like a leader to them, and she vowed to to her best, despite doubts. Of course, nothing came without sacrifice, as she finally cut ties with her old Clan, and continued on to forage the bond she had with this one.

B I O G R A P H Y

She did what she could in the clan, and it flourished. She rallied them into a new area, into more habitable ruins, ever closer to that city of light that sat oh so close. Dragons came and left, but she, and her closest allies and friends always stayed. She became enveloped in the texts she still looked over, and began a search for another calling.

Becoming a Seer was never an ambition she ever thought she’d have, but as time carried on, it grew stronger. She left on occasion sometimes, taking others with her on expeditions to other ruins, to dig up artifacts, to learn the history, to find texts. Eventually, something came to her, in her dreams. A Call to explore the wake of the emperor she crossed once before. So she did.

The other dragons thought her a fool at first, but in due time, she rallied them to the destroyed remains of ruins.. They set up camp under her orders, bigger, better than before. Others joined them on the expedition, to recover artifacts to satisfy their curiosity, or to study what had never been seen in so long. But the visions she answered to may not be at all what they seemed. Had they really been from the light, or from something far more sinister?
